The Leeford Thumb Spica Splint is a convenient device designed to immobilise the thumb in the abduction position. Support the CMC joint and immobilise the MCP joint of the thumb, inhibiting movement. Made out of flexible, breathable, three-layered fabric with sandwiched PU foam contoured to provide close fitting over the thumb. A semi-rigid, removable, malleable radial splint supports the thumb in the abduction and immobilises the Carpo, metacarpophalangeal, and etacarpal joints of the thumb. Velcro closures ensure quick and easy application and removal of the product and a close, contoured fit of the splint around the thumb.
